Rebecca A. Herron comes to The Broken Continent wishing she could join in the combat. She holds a BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Miami, where she studied hand-to-hand and weapons. She has worked with Cavegirl Productions on many award-winning short films, including this year’s Presence, for which she won the DC 48 Hour Film Project’s Best Acting-Female award. She’s also done other film, voiceover and TV work in the DC-area, including an appearance on America’s Most Wanted. This summer she will appear at The Capital Fringe Festival in LiveArt’s I <heart> Hummels, a collaborative ensemble play she helped develop. Rebecca has appeared on many DC-area stages, including with American Century Theater, Cherry Red Productions, National Players at Olney Theatre Center, VSA Arts, Actor’s Theatre Of Washington/Ganymede Arts, Odyssey Productions and Madcap Players. She was a 2011 DC Theatre Scene Audience Choice nominee for Lauren in Looking For The Pony with Venus Theatre and a 2006 Helen Hayes Award nominee for Effy Krayneck in The Spitfire Grill with Theater Alliance.
