Jean Hudson Miller is a 30+ year veteran of Washington area theatre, most recently seen as Prof. E. M. Ashford in Bay Theatre’s production of WIT, and as Dorothy Day in Unexpected Stage’s production of Candy and Dorothy. However, her talents are not limited to old crones or even genteel mature ladies. She has trod the boards in Greek tragedy (The Women of Trachis), Shakespeare (Midsummer Night’s Dream with Washington Shakespeare Company; The Winter’s Tale with Maryland Shakespeare Festival), Shaw (Heartbreak House), Commedia del’Arte (The Ruzante Project), 19th century melodrama (Our American Cousin with the New Old Theater), American classics (To Kill a Mockingbird with Firebelly Productions; The Foreigner with Vpstart Crow Productions ) and edgier (read deviant psychopathic) roles with Cherry Red Productions (Baked Baby; Poona the F*ck Dog).
